I thought it was interesting that when I post a picture on facebook, that it knows exactly where the picture was taken..

It is obvious the gps coordinates are encoded into the exif picture data, but it is interesting that facebook can read it!

I imagine it is easy to read the exif data, but it is just interesting that facebook collects the location. They COULD say it is to put up advertisements in your area...

However, it is known that Facebook worked with Darhpa on a thought control experiment by putting up certain kind of news feeds and observing how people posted based on what they saw pop up on their timeline.

Of course, they didn't call it a "thought control experiment"..

I don't trust facebook at all, but I see them as a necessary evil!
 
Correct if I'm wrong, if you post a picture to FB you give them full rights to that photo, they can use it or sell on to 3rd parties to use because you agreed by simply using their platform
