Issue with lag between p4 and ipad mini first gen with latest updates

Just bought a phantom 4 drone and having issues with lag on live vid signal where either freezes or turns green, at first thought it was issue with cable or wifi on ma ipad being turned on all latest updates are on controller and p4 but still same . Driving me nuts as does not effect recorded video just fpv and till this is sorted worried about taking it outta line of site. Any ideas please

The iPad Mini 1 is too slow to run the DJI GO app. You should use an Apple device from this list instead.
