Ever heard of the 'calendar islands' in Maine? Supposedly there are 365 of them..., but at recent count there are only 215. Plan to explore them all from 100m. Haven't bought my Phantom 3 yet, but will an LG G-Pad 7.0 function as a controller? Thanks! Buzz (NH)

    Welcome to the forum.
Unless there is someone here, who also uses that LG model, it's pretty difficult to answer that inquiry. You would have to first see if you can download the Go App. Are you able to visit the online Apple App Store or Google Play?
Although you can certainly fly a Phantom 3 without the App. You do need it for firmware, drone and camera settings and adjustments...

    Welcome to the forums :)

As already mentioned above that is a tough question to answer without actually having and trying that exact tablet out.

Just keep in mind that you will still use the factory Transmitter (Tx) as the controller but you'll get enhancements and other added benefits when you use the Tx and a Tablet/Smartphone together.

I tried for months to get my LG Gpad 7 to work with no success. I just bought an iPad mini 3. Good luck.
