Is this startup normal?

Sorry to ask this newbie question (this is not my first Phantom) but when I arm the motors of my new Phantom 3 Advanced they all "surge", then settle down. I attached a video via DropBox. (Please ignore the static - the P3 causes interference with my iPhone video.)
Should I be worried?

Yes, that's normal.

This is normal on the Phantom3's. The now have active braking which means that the motors physically slow themselves down as needed. The start up "surge" is to help be sure that they are "spin tight". That is, the surge helps to tighten up the props if needed so that they are far less likely to spin off if there is initial braking/slowing down of the props.

Yes is normal. This type of "surge" is to check if something is loose like a motor or prop. You want a prop to fly off on the ground and not in the air.
Also the rotation of the motor and prop against the wind tightens the props on the shaft.

Thanks all. I'm going to go fly this thing and not worry so much! :)
