Is the wifi connection wide open to anyone?

As far as I know its a closed network, and can only be accessed with a compatible app, ...and only one user at a time. DJI did it this way, so you don't log into the camera, instead of the Wifi Range Extender by accident.

Some people have accessed the network and have set their home routers to work...Search threads for "wifi routers" as range extenders.

Thanks! Speaking of the wifi extenders, when charging, is it common to not get the full green LED after multiple hours of charging? Once I disconnect from the charging and power on, then yes, LED is full, solid green. I then find that if I then put it BACK on the charger, the LED will THEN be a full solid green. But when I first charge it, seems to get "stuck" on the half yellow/half orange-ish color making it seem like its NOT fully charger after being connected to the PC via USB for HOURS
