I don't think a C-130 is worried about a 2.5 pound mosquito in its way! I doubt it would even leave a scratch on the paint, as the "mosquito" was vaporized into smithereens by the bigger bird! Not so good for the owner of the Phantom though!

It's called the Moon Illusion. Objects appear larger than they really are when viewed alongside other objects. Large military aircraft fly directly over our municipal golf course at what seems like under 500 feet. However, every time I pull out the Bushnell Rangefinder, they scope out at well over 1000 yards on the laser, which doesn't lie! Objects may be a lot farther away than they appear!

I'm not crazy! My Mom had me tested.

Maybe a new prescription is in order...eyesight changes frequently!
