Is the Phantom 6-axis?

I know this is probably a dumb question, but is the Phantom 3-axis or 6-axis?

I'd like to buy a trainer craft and I'm trying to decide how important it is getting a 6-axis over a 3-axis. I'd prefer a larger one but it seems like most of the inexpensive quads are 3-axis.

Grab a small 3 axis like a syma S1 and rip it up for a while. The are super robust VERY FUN and if you wreck ur out 30 bucks not 300. It will teach you how to fly in manual mode in case you get into trouble With your 6 axis later down the road. While you learn to fly you can research and drool over all the goodies you want for your quad. The 6 axis difference is vast but spendy. What do you want to do with it?
