Sorry to be the bearer of bad news..... OF COURSE it's a scam. It's the exact same sort of marketing technique as Apple has been using for some time - spread a few rumors on various social media sites (of which this is one) and get people's curiosity aroused. 'Leak' a bit of this or a bit of that and make them (the eager consumers) wait for the final announcement, the date of which will be announced well in advance. Meanwhile, watch the prices drop substantially on older product which they know will be a difficult to dump after the new release. If they're lucky, as Apple has been, the sheeple will line up and camp out at the various retailers in frantic anticipation of being the first on the block with the newest thing. Whatever... doesn't your old one still work and isn't it pretty cool considering what was available just a few years ago? Watch as the newest and greatest Phantom EVER gradually reveals all of the various software and hardware glitches that were carefully kept under wraps as the release deadline approached. If you have followed the DJI product release dates for any length of time, you will know the approximate cycle of the new releases and the approximate time of price reductions on last year's model.
