Is the DJI warranty worth the paper it is written on?

    I'm waiting to hear back from DJI about my P3P that crashed due to a motor searing off during a hover. All my research about other people dealing with DJI for warranty work leaves me wondering if I should just repair the thing myself.

    What good is a warranty if the bird is sitting on a shelf at DJI for months before I get it back and there is a possibility they will charge me for the repair anyway?

    Yeah, I've given up on their warranty and i'll make the repairs myself. The only time I'll wish I had it is if for some reason I have to replace the entire main board. I'll certainly have a second thought about buying another DJI product but you can't beat lightbridge.....
