I'd like to get an iPad mini4 to use ONLY for flying my P3P. I don't cache the video and will be putting the videos from the sd card onto another device. The only addition I would be making is adding the Airnest app. Can I save some money by getting the 16 gb model instead of the 64gb one? Whatever one I get will have cellular if that makes any difference in gb's needed. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

I'm using a 16GB iPad Mini 2. Like you, I only use it with my Phantom (and Inspire 1). There is still plenty of space left over.

16gb is more than enough for a dedicated device.

I just upgraded my mini 2 64gb to the mini 4 128gb because I dump my videos to it after flights. Since they are about 7gb each it filled up my 64gb unit fast.
Loving the extra storage now. Nothing plays back the video better than the iPad.

I too have a 16GB iPad mini and only use if for the Phantom. Plenty of space.
