Is DJI Pilot supposed to be talking to me? It isn't.

I have an Nvidia Shield Tablet that I'm flying the Phantom 3 Pro with. I saw in the videos that the Pilot app should talk to communicate information, but it isn't doing that for me. Am I missing something? Is that only for iOS devices?

The 1.0.10 Android app talked, which was really cool but the new one, 1.1 doesn't. That's unfortunate! I liked the voice feedback!
