iPhone setup to prevent interruptions

I was in the middle of a real estate video shoot the other day, using my iPhone as my screen, and I got a phone call. I've gotten texts at inconvenient times too.

Maybe it's a dumb question, but how should I set up my iPhone so I won't be interrupted by calls, texts or anything else?

Airplane mode.

I'll try that again, but it seemed that my p4 could not connect with the phone in Airplane Mode. Have you tried it?

Airplane mode turns off your Wifi , GPS and Cell use, but the phone can still function . You just cant use follow me or dynamic home point . This is what I am led to believe .
