No because:
1) The IPhone SDK doesn't expose satellite information to the developers of iOS apps. It's encapsulated in CoreLocation, which doesn't provide details about satellites.
2) Most of the time the iPhone doesn't use satellites to get location (because it is slower and less accurate than using WIfi and/or Cell towers)
3) Even if both the iPhone and Phantom used the same technology, they are two separate devices. Just because one of them acquires a certain number of satellites, doesn't mean the other will.
I think the Phantom actually does a pretty good job of indicating if there are enough satellites all by itself.
