When flying in bright sunlight I simply cannot see the screen. Any suggestions? Should I use a different device? Works good in the shade! Thank you.

Use a sunshade, an antiglare screen protector, and fly in the shade if you can-- flying in the shade is the best option. When the new break out board comes out with the HDMI out, plug you will be able to use googles or other monitors to view the camera output.

All the above. But I pretty much look for a shade tree now.
