iPad Mini Bluetooth - PS3 Connection Issue

I wonder if anyone can help with a niggly issue I'm having connecting my P3S to my iPad 4 Mini.

All works fine if you just connect the ac to the iPad, but as it doesn't have a GPS or net connection, I want to also connect it to my iPhone 6.
If you ignore the DJI aspect of it, this is something I always do without issues and always works fine.

The problem is that whenever I connect the iPad to the iPhone using Bluetoth, the connection between the ipad and the P3S drops with "No Connection" showing on the App. Immediately I turn off the Bluetooth on the phone or iPad it connects again properly.

Looks like somehow the Bluetooth connection is interfering with the WiFi connection between ipad and P3S

Has anyone else noticed this? or better still, have a solution?

Same here just tested it today. In theory connecting via bluetooth and using the wifi to connect to the P3S should work but I'm thinking due to the interference its a no go !.

Just cache the maps of where you are going or turn on hotspot fire up the app and let it do its thing.

If you want to use the follow me feature just use your phone for that...
