I just ordered a iPad mini 3 for my P3. It doesn't have cell service. Any concerns? Will maps work? Return to home work?

    Please advise.

Return to home will work since it uses the GPS within the Phantom. You'll need to cache the maps for the area where you'll be flying while connected to the Internet. At that point, you'll be able to see the maps even when not connected to the Internet.

You won't have dynamic home point once it's released in an update. Everything else can be cached or you could hot spot.

any concerns with setting up a hot spot with a cell phone? Seems that will add a potential source of interence if its 2.4ghz. Perhaps Bluetooth hotspot may be safer?
