Has anyone using their P4 and an iPad air experienced the live video in the iOS Go app generally being a tiny bit jerky (for instance if you are up a 100ft then cars on a highway a few hundred yards away are not absolutely 100% super fluid in their motion)

All footage plays back perfectly on my PC and TV though!

Does anyone else who uses an iPad air with their P4 experience this slightly less than 100% smooth video in the iOS Go app?

It looks like it's not 24 frames per second but slightly less, something like 18??

Anyone else?

I have it with my app too with my P3S. Video is perfect when downloaded. Like you said, I don't think it can handle the bit rate.

Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots mobile app

I have that setup, I thought I was losing signal but the video was just sucking

Thanks for replying.

Could try an experiment for me...

Fire up the P4 on the bench - you don't need to have it in the air.

On the TX (I have my gimball tilt setting at 50) rock the gimbal tilt wheel fully up and down in one quick rolling movement.

On your Go App Live View (on the iPad Air) is the motion of the tilting up and down perfectly smooth or does it have the slightest bit of twitchiness.

I might be being pedantic but if you've got a second maybe you could try this test and let me know what you find.

Cheers
Steve
