P2 gph3+ black avl58 boscam 7" monitor

Finally installed the mini on the bird.
Plugged the supplied extra large cable into the canbus connector on the landing pad.
Turned the bird on, camera on.
Camera sends output to monitor.
Mini does not.
Am I missing something?

As well as the CAN-Bus connector did you wire in the video from the camera to the video in of the iOSD mini and then connect the video out of the iOSD mini to your vtx?

No.
From what you're saying, and videos I have seen, I still need other cables to make it work?

This is what kind of ticks me off about DJI and what they supply.
If I need the cable, they should supply it with the package.
I should not need to go to 3rd party places for these cables.
I also have the fpv hub.

Any links to what else is needed is appreciated.

I suggest you get this, makes things much easier. http://www.uav-outlet.com/dji-phantom-2 ... ub-part-9/

He already has the FPV hub, but that doesn't help him get video from the gopro.

Suwaneeguy, DJI does supply the cables needed to connect it to whatever gear you have, you just have to splice the cables to the ones on your camera and video transmitter...they can't be expected to provide all the different connectors for all the types/brands of equipment that may be used with it.

The video output wires from your gopro need to be connected to the video input wires on your iOSD mini.

The video output wires from your iOSD mini need to be connected to the video input wires on your AVL58.

Check out the diagram on the first page here, it shows you what needs to be connected to the iOSD mini: http://download.dji-innovations.com/dow ... .02_en.pdf
