I updated my iPhone 5S to iOS8 yesterday and flew the Phantom today with no problems using the DJI Vision App.

The app worked fine but it didn't seem to want to load the Google map on the "Ground Station" screen, (which it used to do?)
I only flew it once today so couldn't check again but wondered if anyone else has tried to use the app on iOS8 and had the map load OK?

    TIA Steve

I'll try again tomorrow but I'm sure the last time I used the app the map downloaded via 3G in the field after I left home but I may be wrong :)

For me, I have to do it via 3G before I connect to the phantom wifi. It will not load the maps after as mine ignores the 3G if there is a wifi connection.

It's one of those funny situations where I just can't remember exactly!
You're probably right but isn't it funny when you update something and you immediately suspect the new software is to blame when in fact it's user error as per usual ;-)
