    This event is intended to help change the public's misconceptions of drones according to local news. Almost there now.

    It's the medias misconceptions that are the issue, we recently had major news about a supposed drone and a plane, turned out it was likely a plastic bag!

    Drones these days, or certainly the P4 are very safe, albeit from some debugging that is needed to further improve some issues I came across recently!

    Hopefully this event will educate our media too.

    Maybe so. On the local news the reporter actually pointed out the event was primarily to educate the public on said misconceptions. Interested in seeing the news tonight on this event.

    How did the media report it then? Hopefully in a positive light :)

    They reported very positively. Even referring to the negative connotation the public sometimes gets when hearing drone talk in media.
    Pointing out the good aspects of the hobby.
    Of course this was a relatively small event (40-50 drones) it got great local coverage.
