Aerialtronics works with the Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR) on the Interceptor project aimed at protecting the public from the dangerous use of unmanned aerial systems, which is even more vital after a drone crashed on the lawn of the White House.
The system will be equipped with means to:
  • Pursue a menacing drone;
  • Bring it to the ground in a controlled way;
  • Render it harmless (while still in the air).

DJI can do a Basil Zaharoff or Adnan Kashhoggi and sell to both sides in this war:)

it's a good thing the Wright brothers didn't have to fend off this witch hunt or we still would be using wagon trains

Is there any evidence of a problem so far that the public need to be protected from?
How does a drunk crashing a Phantom 1 on the Whitehouse lawn make amything any more vital?
The Whitehouse incident may as well have been a stray frisbee or baseball for all the damage it could have done or the the intent of the drunken pilot.
These "security" types are getting a hardon about nothing.

This made me laugh...

Bring it down in a controlled manner.. that's half the battle with DJI as it is!!
