Insurance/DJI Refresh

I'm curious about insurance. I doubt that I can get dji refresh since my p4 has been crashed and repaired by me and i am going to be flying over water a lot of the time so i may not have a carcass to send in. I have a lot of money in this thing and some kind of protection would make me feel a lot better. Anybody got insurance and what kind of rates should expect in the US? Who offers quad insurance? Any personal expierences anyone can share?

You can obtain a Personal Article Floater for about $60/year. Covers slightly in excess of $2000. You need to contact an agent, such as State Farm. This is 1st party coverage for damage to the Phantom only. Lots of threads on this matter.

I have State Farm, $30/year for my P4 under a personal articles policy, no deductible.

Use it wisely, the party is likely over after the first claim or two, and they may report claims.
