Include or exclude shots showing the camera or pilot

I would be interested to hear other peoples views on including shots in your final edit that show how the footage was captured. I don't like to see clips where the craft or its shadow, or its pilot are in view as I think it destroys the magic. Clearly its different if the objective is to advertise a flying camera service.

Do you prefer videos that give the game away or not ? I prefer videos without but always want to know in the text or credits what was used to capture the footage. :?:
 
I definitely agree that seeing a shadow...or a propeller come into shot is distracting... but i love shots from ground cameras catching the craft flying in slow motion are a nice touch... the phantom is a thing of beauty... haha

I am with you on this one Shrimpfarmer.

There is some really good footage posted here but most of it is spoilt!

You do not need to see the phantom take off, hover, pan left and right, get stabilised, pause then get the good footage.

Less is more… Just show the best!
