Imu caliberation error

Try calibrating the IMU like this:

Making sure msinger. You would never calibrate IMU unless you were prompted to do so or when something was going on with your bird? What are some characteristics that would dictate an IMU calibration?

Isn't this position wrong??

Yea one of the later steps is a little weird you have to kind of flipped the bird over to the back .....op make sure you do it on a level Surface to and then after your IMU is done I would calibrate gimbal on that same level surface

Edit...looks like it is step 5

That would be as pedantic as saying the Phantom is not rotated correctly when doing the calibration step where it's upside down ;)

so when they show it upside down camera facing you you say it's ok to turn upside down with camera facing the other way? Kinda thought the point of the display was to do exactly as shown.

The rotation of the Phantom is not important. It's important to ensure the correct side is facing down in all steps of the calibration though. And, you certainly won't hurt anything by following the rotation in the diagrams exactly. You should definitely do that if it makes the process easier for you to perform.
