Shuether, there is no need to do those mods since DJI already ships the new Phantoms with the mods in place.

No need for this mod on the v3

Just took my V3 apart to check for the ESC/wire heating issue and snapped a pic of the upgraded GPS shielding. It almost looks like DJI followed the guide here...

All looks fine so far but I've been flying in cold weather since I got it. Warmest flight was around 2°C(36°F). I moved the motor wires a bit so they give some extra space for the mosfets and are separated.
