The aircraft will automatically descend and land if Failsafe RTH is triggered when the aircraft is with a 20 meter (65 feet) radius of the Home Point.

Not sure why they would design it that way though, if it has the capability to land much close to the home point. So if you want it to bring it self back to you then fly away further I guess, strange.

Study up on Being ready to CANCEL RTH, and practice canceling it, so you can do it at the Drop of a Hat. It works differently when RTH / LANDING is initiated by LOW battery instead of LOST signal. They don't cancel exactly the same. Things happen, and you never know when you may have to deal with it. Try to have it down pat so you don't even have to think about it. When it says Landing, Landing, and starts to drop STREIGHT DOWN you will be glad you did. You may not have but just a second to cancel it.
