image transmission signal

I was wondering if I can I still fly my phantom even though it says weak image transmission signal? I just bought one and took it out for a spin, after going up to a distance I get an message on my phone about the image transmission signal. I am paranoid about loosing it. It also has the Maximum Altitude on MC Setting set to 120 , should I leave that at 120?

The video is downlinked on 2.4ghz WiFi
The control is uplinked on 5.8ghz RC

You might loose video but still have control.
So when in doubt, learn how to manually initiate and RTH function (Return To Home).
