Hi fellow P3 Phreaks:

I really need the HDMI output module and FAST! I've been searching Google so much that my keyboard is bloody from my chafed fingertips. I'm like a horny 16 yr. old who just discovered what porn sites are!

NOBODY in the U.S. has these in stock, and I've heard too many horror stories about the DJI Store in China taking over 5-6 weeks to ship these stateside. So my only option at this point is to either wait it out for over 6 weeks with those slow pokes in Hong Kong or just pony up $550 to buy an Inspire 1 controller!

I'm literally in tears over this, fellas! I'm going to a huge family reunion over Labor Day weekend and plan on flying my P3 Pro for hours (I have 8 batteries) and setting up a 70-inch 4K TV by the pool so that all 100 people in attendance can watch me fly all over the property (300 acre ranch that my uncle owns).

Can anyone sell me a spare they might have? I will pay a nice price for it. As a last resort, anyone live in Canada who can order from this website and ship it to me via postal service (they only have 3 left in stock so we need to hurry):

Look at the estimated arrival dates for that Amazon vendor --- Sept. 14 at the earliest? Aint gonna work!

Plus, there is obvious deception going on with that listing --- how can they guarantee delivery by Aug. 20 by choosing "Expedited at Checkout" if these boards are shipping directly from mainland China? Are they using Soyuz rockets to deliver Amazon products now ?!? That God **** Jeff Bezos is a miracle worker!

Go buy a shield tablet. That's what I used before I got my board. It had a HDMI mini out, worked perfectly for my headplay goggles.

No sir. But, it will work if they ship it per the advertised "Aug. 20 - 25 when you choose Expedited at checkout" shipping. Like I said, there are conflicting dates. Your guess is as good as mine as to which is correct.

I'm certainly no shipping expert. But, I ordered an Inspire 1 from DJI (shipped from mainland China) last Monday afternoon and FedEx dropped it off at my house (in the US) on Thursday morning (3 days later).

That's actually a very cool idea --- anyone know if the DJI GO app works just as fast on the Nvidia Shield 32GB as it does on the iPad Mini 3 64GB? I tend to prefer the 1.33 aspect ratio of the iPad Mini over the 1.6 ratio of the Shield, but I could overlook that if the Shield runs the GO app without lockups or stuttering like a cheap tablet might. There are known issues about the Shield overheating during heavy gaming but not sure if the GO app would cause this?

BTW, where did you buy the Headplay goggles? I heard they are the best high-res. FPV goggles for the P3P right now. I really dont want to buy the Sony HMZ-T3W cuz I heard bad things about it and I can only find them used on Amazon and B&H Photo for $700+, even though they have 720p displays inside.

Will DJI ship the HDMI board using FedEx 3-day option?

done. you can use this until you get an hdmi adapter and then sell.

Anyone actually tried to return an Inspire controller to Amazon within their 30-day return policy?

I'd like to make sure I get a full refund once my HDMI board arrives off a boat from good ol' China. Plus, I might have to mod the I1 controller with the FPVLR antenna kit so I dont want those overworked Bezos Slaves to get any funny ideas about rejecting my return. :D

If you are using a powered TV as a shared display, why not get an AppleTV box and use AirPlay to mirror your camera view to the TV. This assumes you are using an Apple iPhone or iPad of course.

****, you guys are innovative as all heck --- I like that :p

One snag I thought about when using either an NVidia Shield or the Apple TV mirroring is the lack of ability to turn off telemetry app data to the external TV screen. That is one nice feature about the HDMI board, and I'm thinking having a bunch of people look at a cluttered GO app screen on a 70-inch TV isn't all that appealing while they sip a cold Corona and munch on BBQ chicken and burgers. I want to be able to turn off all the "crap" and just let them enjoy the live 720p video feed.

Amazon is rather well known for their "no returns hassles" policy. Maybe someday I'll talk about the $900 Canon professional sheetfed scanner I returned to them for a full refund after completing a project of scanning 4000 family photos. I know some people might call that "abuse of a returns policy" but I simply call it "exercising an option". :p

Why would you want to share that type of information to the world? If it were me I wouldn't want everyone to know I was a scammer.

I ordered my HDMI board from DJI directly.
It certainly didn't take 5-6 weeks to arrive.
From memory it was less than 2 weeks.

I'm still waiting on mine direct from dji. Been waiting since 7/19

Still waiting on mine from ADVEXURE-- apparently DJI is not even shipping to dealers. Anyone else ordered from a dealer stateside and received their order?
