I've been happy with, as have others I have heard from, with an Immersion 600mw 5.8 ghz Vx, mini iOSD, BlackPearl 7" diversity display and Immersion Spironet antenna's (and a patch also on the monitor). I have been out to 1200 meters LOS and the monitor is nice and bright.

If you have money to spend, the DJI Lightbridge is about to ship, which is HD FPV and telemetry all inclusive for $1,400 with ranges up to 1 a mile and a half.
