In a quest for a bigger FPV monitor, I followed someone's instructions for mounting the iPad mini grifiti holder...which worked well. But after purchasing the Hoodie shade, found that the magnets didn't hold well at all.
So I went about mating the 2 with some expose along the main edge to secure the hoodie and the iPad mini mount, as sort of a hinge. Then sewed an elastic band to secure it up when sunny. It "hinges" back and folds away and can be rubber banded out of the way on a cloudy day. It seems to work very well.
I'm going.to try and post photos here to illustrate...if I can figure out how to post multiple pics.
