I have a new phantom 3 pro, I am looking for a hard case. I am driving myself crazy looking at all the cases.

I have prop protectors (snap on or quick release) I found a couple of cases but they say how people had to trim them to get them to fit with the prop guards since they stick out a little bit and also have to trim the end of the arms a little deeper too, to accommodate the prop guard mountings.

So basically I am looking for a hard case that I don't really have to do any trimming too also I would like one where I can leave the props on. ( If I must trim so be it)

The only extras I have now, one battery, samsung galaxy note 10.0, quick release prop guards

I know this is probably been posted a hundred times so please don't get mad with me I am just looking for some suggestions on cases..ones that people have and protect well thanks in advance

I haven't looked at any of these.......................... just copied from a poster at the other forum.

Here are some links to a number of backpacks:
WITH PROPS AND GUARDS (but is HUGE!):

SAME COMPANY, BUT NO GUARDS (if you use the quick-release guards, as mentioned) you could store them in pockets:

SAME COMPANY, BUT COMPLETELY SOFT SIDED:

ANOTHER COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STYLE:

COMPLETELY SOFT, INCLUDING INTERIOR COMPARTMENTS (I'd personally prefer custom cut foam inserts):

NICE CASE, BUT HUGE:

VERY NICE BACKPACK WITH MILITARY GRADE MATERIAL:

SAME STYLE BACKPACK AS ABOVE, BUT "CHEAPER" MATERIAL:

Sometimes it's very handy to be able to use your case as a take off pad. (High grass, weeds, dust, etc., are not good for your bird.) If a case does not have a suitable flat surface then it won't work for take offs.

atichargr, the Koozam hard case might be a good option for you since you can store your Phantom with the prop guards on too.

Based on the Amazon reviews alone, it looks like a great case. It'll be able to hold your prop guards too.

I have spent hours today looking at cases.. so far this one is my favorite .. The only bad review I see on this is that the batteries being stored under the props, but I only have one extra battery at this time so I think that would not be a problem. I will wait to see if any other responses if not I may just pull the trigger on this one

You'll still want to inspect the props after every flight, and it's hard to see near the hub when they're mounted.
Excellent point. For this reason, it really doesn't make sense to attempt to store the Phantom with the props on.

The HPRC hard case is another popular option for those who like to keep the props on -- since it has indentations for the props as well.

So I got the case today. Very pleased with it. You have to remove the foam where you want so that is a nice feature. I also decided to remove my props since I have read that it is better to store with them off. here are a couple of pics.
