I give up - where is the format SD card option

    Running app version 2.3 - looking for the option to format the SD card - I have looked and looked and can't find it any where - can someone point me to where it is hidden

    I appreciate the quick response but is this under the safe to fly button - if not what is the path to get there?

    I also see it under Camera options > More > Format SD

    Or you can always format the SD card in your computer too.
    It makes no difference whether you do it in the Phantom or computer.

    thanks, but for some reason the sd card was scrambled or somethng - my computer would not load the card but the P3 recognized the card and it formatted same

    I had similar problem, turned out my usb sd micro card reader was faulty.

    other sd cards both micro and regular size worked for some reason the P3 recognized the card and I was able to reformat - the reader tne would read the card - go figure
