I am not sure I should update to the DJI GO, I see on this board, a post was placed that the new
update uses more power from the battery. More power to the motors, but flight time goes down to 19 minutes.
If this is the case I would like less motor thrust, and have more air time.
Does anyone know if this is the case.

DJI GO runs from a tablet/phone, so I'm not sure how it would impact the performance of the Phantom battery.

Got a link to that post?

I also mean the Phantom 3 & controller flash update as well as the DJI Go.
I thought you have to do the flash updates to use DJI Go.

No the go app will work with the older firmware. The reason to do the updates is to fix bugs and issues. I have not seen people complaining about less flying time.

My ipad2 updated the dji pilot app, by itself (not what I wanted to do)
Now I have Dji Go. I have flown my phantom 3 30 times with the old app (Dji Pilot) has worked great no problems with the app, worked perfect.
The 1st flight I did with the new Dji Go, at battery lever 33% I got (Disconnected)and no video, looked like Dji flashed off and restarted (asked If I trusted this computer). After this it started to work again.
This is not a good thing to happen as everyone knows, Is their anyway to get my Dji Piot app back
because It worked 100% with no glitches.
