How to take the Initial aeronautical knowledge test?

especially since the tests will likely have different charts!!
No, that is the actual book of charts that is used on the exam. When taking the test don't forget that the Chart legend is right there in the front of the book, making the charts section more like an open-book test. Students of the Drone Professor's course (advertised on this forum) are making 88% and better on the exam with a 2 hour video course and a few hours reviewing the resource materials (ACs, PHATK, etc.). It's not that hard but it does take some preparation.

Part 107.73 lists 12 specific areas that will be on the exam. The FAA's Airman Certification Standards detail where the questions come from. There are courses that don't cover all 12 areas and others that cover way too much and cost a lot more than it needs to.

The test will contain all needed references and materials... everything but the answers!
Actually, since the chart legend is in the front of the book, it's almost like the answers are there. For example [-30] is one.

What options for insurance are you guys finding? Love to see input from everyone here who's found decent insurance.

I like the idea of VeriFly - Pay by the hour. I had one situation they wouldn't cover because it was too close to a heliport, even though the heliport gave approval.

On the part that states 17 digit knowledge test #, where did you all find that information?

Are you talking about filling out your IACRA application? If so, here's our video that explains it:
