How to slow down the yaw for panning?

I find it difficult to do a slow uniform yaw when trying to pan an aerial shot. I tried setting the gain down as low as 50% in NAZA-M Assistant but didn't seem to make much difference. This is with the Phantom FC40 (Phantom 1.1.1?)
Any tricks out there to overcome this? TIA

Basic yaw gain doesn't change your stick input, it only slow down the automatic gain the Phantom performs to maintain the direction it's supposed to be pointing (like correcting for getting blown by the wind).

DJI doesn't provide a "gain" for stick yaw. You either have to really practice slow, steady movements of the stick (and you can get really good with it with practice), or you can get a 3rd party transmitter with programmable rates.

Some good ideas here.
