How to save all settings?

My quad has to be replaced by a new one.
Does DJI GO app keep all settings? Camera, P3P, RC, Gimbal, all of them.
Does the app restore them?
Do I have to save/restore them? How?

You'll have to manually reset everything when you get it back. You should recalibrate everything too.

Yes, that's clear. Upgrade firmawares, calibrate compass, check IMU

So I have to write all in a notebook and then manually restore all of them

You got it. It really shouldn't take more than a few minutes to setup DJI GO if you know your way around the app.

I've got the replacement and all went fine.
I have to warn to people acquiring a new P3 without last firmwares installed to NOT to follow app instruction. It installs remote control firmware first while it is recommended to start with the quad upgrade. The app does not say anything about the order so it's easy to make a mistake, users are not diviners. You have to go to dji download page and get the last firmware. There is a .bin file and a .pdf with clear instructions. I am going to start a new thread with this warning.
