How to know if you need new firmware

I installed the app and connected it to the phantom 3, but there was nothing at the top to tap regarding upgrading the firmware, as shown in the tutorial video on the Dji website. I guess this means a firmware update is not needed? Tks

When you start DJI GO, it will tell you if you need new firmware. If it says nothing, then you are fine.
