    I Just put together a video on how to extend your Phantom 2 landing gear for next to no cost at all and not modifying the Phantom itself in any way. Check it out and let me know what you think:

    That's a great idea with the connectors, what about a zip tie between the screw holes?

    Thanks very much. Its better than the foam packing that I used thats for sure. I thought of using cable ties, but wanted to have a temporary way of attaching/detaching so that I could fit it into my box for transporting around (I'll be getting a decent carry case soon).

    Creative use of what's readily available. I would second the need for zip ties. You don't want one of those rotating around the side on landing. Take the screws out to save on weight.
