How to hand catch?

Found mine once after hitting a tree upside down and motors were just trying to spin but sitting there jerking with no spinning. kind a like it was having an epileptic fit. Motors got pretty hot. So I can imagine if it was in a dry Stubblefield it might cause cause a fire.

We'll there are some requirements to hand catch....you have to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.

And operate an RC unit, and maybe a walkie-talkie for your field spotter, and hang out with the guys drinking beer in case they happen to be there too.

Listen there is no "almost" crash that was upside down and it fixed itself. Once it's upside down your pretty much screwed. Especially if the altitude is 0
