Anyone have any pointers on how to gain customers?

I am about to generate fliers or some type of medium to spread the word about my services of aerial photography/videography. My target base will be realtors or FSBOs.

I also have a wide angle lens for my DSLR and can take really good interior pics to round out my total package deal. Ever notice how MLS listings can have really bad pics??

What ways are you marketing yourself?

Once you have some good example pics to use, it's just a matter of visiting, calling or emailing every agent you can get info on. Word of mouth will kick in pretty quick.

Get some commercial property shots too, there can be bigger money there.

Once thing I've started doing is giving customers a discount on the individual property rate if they can line multiple ones up on a single day for me to shoot (like Sat morning for example).

Also, make sure the agents are clear the property will need to be camera-ready...lawn mowed, hedges trimmed, trash out of the back yard, etc. It still surprises me how many send me out to properties where this hasn't been done and expect amazing shots or video.
