How to get it to work???

Hi, I bought the Aerofly RC7 Simulator to practice when I cannot get my Quad out, although the controller has the trainer port I don't know how to activate it while using my MacBook Pro computer. Is there anyone out there who has tried this combination and got it to work, if yes, can you kindly share the requirements and the steps.
