How to get free Litchi IOS download from apple store

I purchased Litchi for Android and P3P a few months ago.
Have upgraded to Apple tablet, AIR 2, and new DJI P4.
Went to download it from the Apple store and it said that I would need to pay for it.
So my question is, do I need to pay for it again for the Apple tablet, AIR 2?
If not, how do I get around sending the money to the Apple App Store and do a free download?

I would contact the app creator and ask for a promo code to get the app for free since you already paid for the android version. Will they agree? Probably not. Worth a try though because you got nothing to lose.

different OS so yes, you'll have to pay for it again. unless you get in contact with the developers and they do you a kindness by giving you a promo code or something. but you certainly shouldn't expect it.

Actually I read a comment from the developer to the effect that if you wish to switch platforms he will work with you to avoid having to buy it twice. Worth checking.
