How Many Phantoms Have Been Sold Worldwide?

Anyone care to hazard a guess? I'm just curious.

It's impossible to know. Unless you ask DJI, all the dealers lie. DSLRpros claims to be the best dji dealer on their website. Atlanta hobby claims to be the largest dealer. Aerial media claims to sell more phantoms than anyone else and dronefly claims to be the number one DJI dealer. They will all inflate their numbers if you ask them what their sales are. Obviously you can't have a tie for first place. Either you're number one or you're not.

Did I miss something? I've never heard of a fake Phantom being bought/sold.

Plenty of examples of Phantom shells being used as the basis for a build- hardly fakes though.

I think you might notice a size difference. I doubt this is more than three inches in diameter!
