How Many Phantom Flyers?

    How Many Phantom Flyers with after market Transmitters have had fly-aways?

    I have no idea. I have done some research on that thought and I think it is that the stock transmitters are mass-produced and cheap.

    This isn't exactly what you asked for... but I fly with a Futaba T8FG-S. That is, I'm still flying with one -- no flyaways!

    I've been flying fine with my Futaba T8j as well, never a problem.
    but I believe I've read one or two instances where people experienced flyaway-type characteristics.

    I think that some percentage of flyways occur due to operator error, which are much less likely to occur for experienced flyers who've flown and then upgraded to newer Tx's.

    Nobody has really kept track of the flyaways, tho one website was created to help get an idea.
