I use the dji app with p2+ and ipad. I don't see any way to save flights or even cache maps before I go to the field where I might not have cell coverage. Are you using a different app? Also migh GS page does not show my location as a blue dot, only will show red plane for phantom.
How do you save flight info?

The app should give you a large area map around your "hone" location so you can use that off line.
If you need something outside of that, do a "mission" at home while online, then save in favorites.
Check in the ipad settings and make sure your bluetooth is operating.
Does your BT module show a green light? If not, you're not connected to the ipad.
