since topics are spread around in several areas but they can be of interest for me even if not strictly related to my set (P2NV) I use the link
    "View new posts"

which presents all the posts from all the areas... very useful!

I just wanted to share it...

(we say in italy "you discovered the hot water"! :) )

    A little of both !!

    I was always hearing:
    "that's how they do it"
    "you know what they say"
or just plain old "back in the old country"

Being a country of immigrants it is a common phrase that many of us heard from the elders in our families.
Both sides of my family came to the US just before WWII from Germany, Austria, and Lithuania. So I did hear it a lot from my grandparents.
