How do you know when range is getting too far?

New to this.. A ton to learn.

Is there a way to judge connection quality to the p3(p)? Either from interference due to trees etc, or due to distance. Is the indicator in the app sufficient or do you also use other ways to judge.. Does the signal drop suddenly at the edge of the range? How's many bars are in your comfort range?

I don't expect to press any limits on distance for a while, just trying to learn how to judge it.

It's best to keep an eye on the bars at the top of the DJI GO app. If flying behind objects, the signal could suddenly drop. You should scout out the area where you'll be flying first so you know what to expect before your flight.
