I was flying my DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus and I had small crash with no obvious damage to the exterior. It was from low level and landed on a soft service. However since then, when I power up the drone the camera rotates up left and right and tilts up and down constantly and gets hot as a result. Is it possible to repair this or do I have to replace the whole camera?

What version phantom do you have? Is it the V3 with upgraded motors and integrated compass legs?

Do a complete inspection of the ribbon cable. Sounds like it may have gotten a bad scrape or even a tear. If that's ok then one of the potentiometer may have gotten damaged. Look at you tube videos on camera jerking.
