How common is the MC data error?

So I had a couple great flights this morning with no problems. I went to use it later to find I had an MC error. X sensor was stuck on the accelerometer. Smacking the phantom on the battery side freed the sensor.

From what I read, this is mostly caused from a crash but I never crashed my Phantom. It did go through a car ride for an hour before the MC data error but it also went through a 10 hour car ride the day before with no issues. Could have been from me inserting the battery a little hard as I usually do to make sure it is secure. Anyone else ever experience this issue?

I thought I was going to have to take it apart to tap the sensor until I read an awesome post on the DJI forums.

Had the same issue a while ago. Same circumstances: no crashes, after a (not rough) car ride. Haven't seen the issue since anymore.
