How come we can see other peoples 'messages' *edit* never mind... its a user error on my end!

Errr I just noticed now you can read other peoples messages/conversations.
How do we send a message that other people can't read it.
Its a pretty stupid 'feature'.
The new forum layout sucks.. its so slow because of all the features.
Anyways back on topic.. so yeah.. how do we send a private massage ?
